· Players (especially pitchers) are encouraged to begin building arm strength to prevent in-season injuries.
· Batting cage open for live pitching.
· Supervised by OBA Coaches, parents encouraged to stay to throw/ learn

Winter Instructional League
The Winter Instructional League is a chance for players to hit a pitched
ball, run the bases, make plays in the field, and have fun doing it. In
contrast to a baseball clinic, the Winter Instructional League is similar to
the baseball movie "The Sandlot”. Here, the kids pick the teams, decide
on a batting order, and position the defense themselves. Each week,
they will play a 90-minute game. Jim Benson of the BaseballAcademy
serves as the everlasting pitcher, supervises the game, and frequently
stops the game to offer instruction. Every kid bats, plays the field, and
learns how to play the game better...they just don’t realize it; they’re too
busy having fun!

CATCHING CLINIC
FUNDRAISER FOR ORONO HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL
The clinics are available to players, coaches and parents and will address catching fundamentals and drills. Both clinics will cover the same topics. Specific topics covered will be receiving, blocking, and throwing. Equipment is not necessary but may be brought. Players, please bring a glove and athletic clothing.

DATES (TIMES): February 19 & 26 (1-3pm)
COST: $20 Donation to Orono High School Baseball for each clinic per attendee —All funds raised will benefit Orono High School Baseball

WEDNESDAY NIGHT HITTING CLINIC
(maximum of 15 players – all ages welcome)
The clinic will focus on the fundamentals of hitting. Players will get an opportunity to develop their skills through a variety of hitting drills. Please bring your own bat, athletic clothing and tennis shoes.
LOCATION : The10 Dome baseball cages (2465 West Wayzata BoulevardLong Lake, MN 55356)
DATES (TIMES): March 14, 21, 28 & April 4 (7-8p) April 11 (6-7p)
COST: $125

FRIDAY NIGHT HITTING CLINIC
(maximum of 15 players – all ages welcome)
The clinic will focus on the fundamentals of hitting. Players will get an opportunity to develop their skills through a variety of hitting drills. Please bring your own bat, athletic clothing and tennis shoes.

SPRING BREAK CLINIC
The clinic will focus on the fundamentals of throwing, fielding and hitting. Players will have an opportunity to develop their skills through a variety of drills in preparation for their season. Please bring your own bat, glove, athletic clothing (long sleeves and pants) and tennis shoes.

DATES (TIMES): March 26, 27, 28 (11:30a - 1p)
COST: $115
