Brad Mazer graduated from Orono High School in 1998. During his career at Orono he was a member of the 1996 baseball team that finished 2nd in the State High School Tournament. Brad then went on to play at Gustavus Adolphus College. During his career at Gustavus he was a member of both all-conference and all-region teams for four years and was a team captain for his final two seasons. In 2002 he was voted the MIAC Player of the Year and was a member of the All-America Team. After graduating from Gustavus in 2002 he went on to play professionally for the Fargo Moorhead Redhawks of the Northern League. He played for three seasons and was the starting catcher when Fargo Moorhead won the Northern League Championship in 2003.
Brad has been giving private lessons and clinics for nine years and has been working with Nevers Larkin Baseball for the past four years. He was a volunteer assistant with the Orono High School Team in 2008 and has been working with Orono families and the OBA since 2008. Brad received his MA in counseling psychology from The University of St. Thomas in 2011.
