2016 Glen Lake Baseball Tournament Information

We again look forward to hosting the Glen Lake Baseball Tournaments.  The tournament schedule for each level is listed below:

• 11U AA - June 10, 11, 12.  MBT and MSF state qualifier

Games are played at Optimist Field, located on the corner of NE corner Excelsior Blvd and Woodhill Ave in Minnetonka.  The tournament venue has long been recognized as one of the area’s finest for youth baseball; combining wonderfully maintained fields, a great family friendly atmosphere, along with a close proximity to the quaint Glen Lake neighborhood of Minnetonka. 

Glen Lake’s Optimist Field boasts:

•             Two well-maintained youth baseball fields; complete with dugouts, grass infields, fencing surrounding the fields, and lights for evening games

•             Four batting cages

•             A full service concession stand with free post game slushies for players

•             Adjacent playground for younger siblings

•             A wonderful pavilion that allows parents and fans to watch games on both fields

•             Walking distance to Glen Lake area businesses. Some place called the Gold Nugget. :)
