We are now accepting coach applications for our 2024 travel & tournament baseball teams.  Our travel teams compete at various levels of competition between the ages of 9 - 15 years old. 

Our two 9YO tournament teams will compete in 2 weekend tournaments in June and potentially 1-2 state tournaments in July.  Coaches at this level can expect 1-2 practices per week from late-April/early-May thru mid-July and must be committed to the 2-4 weekend tournaments. (This is a separate team from the Majors In House team the kids will also play on. It is encouraged & appreciated if tournament team coaches also coach a Majors team.)

The 10U - 15U levels will be travel teams. (For more details on the 10U change, visit the OBA programs page.) The travel season consists of approximately 14 league games plus playoffs. These teams also compete in 3-5 weekend tournaments during this span (weekend tournaments and possible state tournaments). Coaches at these levels can expect 3-4 practices and games per week mid-April thru the end of July plus weekend tournaments.

Travel coaches are held to a Code of Conduct. You can view the code of conduct in our Travel Handbook or in the coach application. You can view more information about the OBA travel and tournament baseball program online here. 

Coaches are selected by the OBA Operations Committee. For more details on the coach selection process, please read the Travel Handbook. All candidates must also complete our “Trusted Coaches” program prior to final selection and placement.

There will be a mandatory head coaches meeting on Tuesday, April 2 - location TBD.
